Wings, spinner and a propeller. It's the uber-wind toy. 1924
Toy pool
A design for a play pool with seat and shower, assigned to the Hettrick Manufacturing Company of Toledo, Ohio. 1938
Toy animal figure
An ornamental design for a toy elephant by sculptor Peter Ganine. Ganine was born in Russian, studied at the Corcoran gallery in Washington, D.C. and settled in Los Angeles. 1950
Toy figure for cats
A design patent for a stuffed fish toy for cats. 1950
Toy boat
A design for a toy racing boat assigned to the Champion Plastics Corporation of New York. 1950
Tot's scooter-stroller
A toy horse scooter that can be pushed by a parent or foot-propelled by the tot. 1951
Splinter raft
A "float boat for children." Children can be safely strapped in and towed by a line attached to the bow. 1952
Horse skates
A nice roller skate design for the junior jockey. 1953
Bomb sled
An ornamental design for a sled. And a useful tool if the need arises to launch munitions down a ski trail. 1956
Rocket sleigh
This is another patent that leaves us wanting more information. This is an ornamental design for a sleigh, but the patent doesn't get into little details like where passengers sit. But it does look like wonderful fun. 1954
Hobbyhorse
A bucktoothed child's riding toy. On a stick. 1953
Ski sled
This looks pretty simple. Sit down, point the "sled" downhill and let gravity do its business. Good luck. 1953
Boat trundle toy
The wooden sailor rows, and the dog naps, as the boat is pushed along the floor. Assigned to the Fisher-Price Toys. 1952
Pony and rider toy
An ornamental design assigned to Toy Tinkers, Inc., of Illinois. The rider moves up and down as the pony rolls forward. 1925
Noah's Arc
"My present invention relates to mechanical toys and in its most specific application is intended to provide a ludicrous simulation of Noah's ark, although the novel principles of the toy may be applied for simulating other effects." 1931
Happy clown doll
An ornamental design for a clown doll assigned to the Jump-Jump Franchise Corp. 1950
Bobble bobby
An "inflatable toy roly-poly or the like" assigned to Plastic Innovations, Inc., of New York. 1950
A mouth full
"The prime object of our present invention centers about the provision of an improved equipment associated with the mouth opening of dolls' heads embodying a movable tongue member which may be combined with a tooth member suspended for a vibratory movement at the said mouth opening and vibratingly operative at the mouth opening upon a slight movement imparted to the head when in erect or vertical position to simulate movements of the tongue resulting in creating the impression or effect of animated or mobile mouth organs." Whew! This patent was assigned to the Markon Manufacturing Co., Inc., of New York. 1930
